All our summer tour shows were a great success by our estimation, and we were very fortunate to have good weather for all our outdoor performances. As we enter the fall/winter, we are accommodating the upcoming arrival of twins by our fiddler Bexy, the completion of a Masters program by Steve, overseas travel by our dear Matti, and another baby arrival for Brooke in February 2018.
Yup, it's a busy time. We have just 3 shows remaining before we officially step behind the curtain until next March, but we will not be idle. We are re-commencing our studio recordings for our 2nd album, and hope to have it completed for a March release.
Thanks for all the great support this year folks, it's been amazing.
Special shout-out to Cashbox Canada magazine for acknowledging Steve becoming Beach Celt of the Year for the 2017 Beach Celtic Festival!
Catch us on Sept 9-10, 2017 at The Beach Celtic Festival
Oct 13th, 2017 for our widely enjoyed CELTIC NIGHT at The Tranzac
and Nov 1st, 2017 for a great fundraiser at The Opera House (details coming)
Best!

We will keep this kinda short. We have been adding some great festival style shows to our performance dates so check out our live shows page for details! We had a fantastic show with our friends Screeched Inn on April 1st, 2017 at the Imperial Pub. Here is a sample of both bands from the night. We hope you enjoy it and join us for a future show, cause it was a hell of a lot of fun!
Cheers!

Post Paddy's Report!
Oh my Gawd, has it been that long since we updated our news feed!!! Alright, let's catch everyone up. We are well into recording our 2nd album now and our new single "Hell of a Party - Song for Saint Patrick's Day" came available on iTunes and other digital distributors last week. We were really proud of this Canadian drinking song, and hope it gains traction as the years go on, and becomes as synonymous with Paddy's Day as "Fairytale of New York" by the Pogues is to Christmas!
Yes, we are setting our dreams high.
What we can say is our song was played on multiple Radio stations over the last couple of days, including CBC Radio 1, so thanks to everyone for supporting our indie music, whether by spinning it, or listening, it means a lot to us.
Paddy's day was a great success for us, not because we played gi-normous televised spectacles, but because we chose some shows this year that allowed us to have fun, not get burnt out running across the city for 12 hours, and that felt particularly special, bringing some music to a wonderful Retirement Residence, and to a sold-out ticketed event at The Second Wedge Brewing Company (the beer was AWESOME!) Thanks to all the wonderful folk we met at both. We are proud to say that both venues inquired immediately about having us return next year, which is by far the greatest compliment we could receive, so thanks for brightening our day.
We re-introduced our Celtic Kitchen Sessions which we held at The Imperial Pub, and had some great musicians join us to share their talents and have some fun. We will definitely be holding another one before too long, so remember, any skill level of musician is welcome to join us!
Finally, we are gearing up for a great summer, and there will be plenty of opportunity to see the new formation of Old Man Flanagan's Ghost with both Brooke and Bexy fiddling away together. The second ever live showing of these two will be at The Imperial Pub on April 1st with our special guests SCREECHED INN. Spots will be limited, and we are expecting standing room only, so check out our Facebook page to keep updated on news for that show.
We will try to be back on here more often, however we are running this entire operation ourselves, no promoters, no staff tweeting or updating social media, just little ol' us, so thanks for your patience, and support.
Cheers,
OMFG
